Okay, so we might be looking ten to twenty years in the future here but I would like to pose a question to everyone. I have recently been watching Siren Visual’s second installment of Dennou Coil alongside CyberConnect2’s .hack//Link and .hack//G.U game titles and could not help but notice the similarities between the two. In both the aforementioned series, they pose that the internet will be overlapping with reality and be accessible through glasses instead of through ordinary desktop granted some limitations and supernatural elements (Comas, the ability to “die” by unsyncing your real and digital self et cetera).
My question is… with technological innovations ever increasing, do you believe it would be possible in the 20’s to be able to connect to information databases even virtual reality through something as simple as a pair of glasses (or alternate device)?
While I am basing this question off fictitious series, I am curious as to the consensus on how technology should evolve over the next decade.
