As a gamer, you spend a lot of time in the shoes of your protagonist, whether it is one you have created in an online game, given your name to or just been assigned with to continue driving the narrative. While in most RPGs, you will be joined by your fellow party members or secondary characters and learn about them during your journey, there are often the mysterious behind-the-scenes characters guiding you on your adventures. Tara Platt’s performance as Elizabeth in Persona 3 and Michelle Ann Dunphy’s role as Margaret in Persona 4 are two examples which have stood out as highlights of the mysterious and supernatural yet quirky assistants.
Therefore when coming across this new outfit on my monthly sweep of Gacha-options on Second Life, could not resist trying to put together an example of what my OC would look like as one such guide. I do imagine her continually referring to the protagonist as a “lost little lamb”. It sounds like a really comforting term, but in a very snarky way. Perhaps she would use the lolita-style umbrella (pictured below) as a magical shepherd’s rod to tame summoned spirits for use by the party.
This photo was taken in Second Life. Second Life does have a reputation for more adult content (there is no shortage of that if you explicitly look for it). However, those interested in using it to build custom avatars and take great photographs will find a lot on offer from the user-created worlds, purchasable content for your avatars, a high level of customisation and clients dedicated to taking fantastic photos.
