While arguably the most popular Megami Tensei spin-off franchises (Persona) has found its home on the PlayStation line of consoles, the main numbered Shin Megami Tensei games have. with one exception, been more closely aligned with Nintendo consoles – either home gaming or portable. Continuing this trend, ATLUS have announced that Shin Megami Tensei V will be headed to western markets on the Nintendo Switch.
Information on Shin Megami Tensei V is currently limited., What ATLUS has confirmed is that it will be “set in modern Tokyo” and that “players will face a new onslaught of demons”.
Expect to hear more about Shin Megami Tensei V in the new year.
