[E3 2016] Sekai Project are Bringing Fault milestone one and Rabi-Ribi to PS4, PS Vita

Sekai Project recently announced that they have teamed up with Mighty Rabbit Studios and Limited Run Games to bring a number of titles from their catalogue of visual novels and Japanese indie games to consoles – specifically the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Turns out we didn’t have to wait all that long to find out which games would be up first.

It has been confirmed that Fault milestone one from Alice in Dissonance and Rabi-Ribi by CreSpirit will be available on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in the near future. You can find out more information on both these titles at the bottom of this post.

This decision by Sekai Project could unlock a lot of possibilities in the future. Their successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for FRONTWING’s The Grisaia Trilogy for example hinted at the possibility of a PlayStation Vita release, which I haven’t heard about in quite some time. With the capability to more easily port games over to consoles, offering such availability in the form of stretch goals for major visual novels might become more practical.

With a sizable assortment of visual novels and indie games to work with, it will be interesting to see what Sekai Project decide to port across next.

Rabi-Ribi

PlayStation 4 / PlayStation Vita

Developed by Cre-Spirit, Rabi-Ribi follows the “mishop” adventure of Erina, whose routine life as a rabbit is turned upside down and inside out when she awakens to discover that, not only is she in an unfamiliar new world, but she has been transformed into a human girl…with rabbit ears and a fuzzy lil’ tail to match! As Erina ventures out into this magical new world in search of her Master, she meets the spunky pink-haired fairy, Ribbon, who mysteriously chooses to stick by Erina’s side. Together, these unwitting heroes embark on their quest to restore Erina’s life to normalcy, unbeknownst to the troubles that await them.

Fault milestone one

PlayStation 4 / PlayStation Vita

Fault milestone one follows the story of a princess named Selphine and her Royal Guardian Ritona. When a sudden assault devastates their homeland of Rughzenhaide, the two are forced to escape… but somehow end up teleported into an unknown forest full of vegetation they don’t recognize. The atmosphere is thick and heavy. There is no sign of life, which is very unusual for such a lush forest. Something is wrong about the land… But they are too startled to notice what.
