While this isn’t something I would ever personally consider putting on my phone, it seems like the Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi versions of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica fone apps for Android devices has been popular enough with anime fans around the globe to warrant even more development.
Aniplex of America on behalf of “foneclay” today sent out an announcement that versions of the phone app for magical girls Mami Tomoe, Kyoko Sakura and Sayaka Miki are now available for download via the Google Play store for Android devices. Each character’s edition is available for 1,200 yen, converted to each areas local currency. At this point in time, Foneclay’s “Anifone” range of titles have included Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Sword Art Online.
In addition, the company has confirmed that development for iOS devices has begun, with more information on them to be made public in the next few months. For more information on what these apps do, check out its official website.
