In the past week or so, Japanese video game developer has been teasing a new title with signs that it could relate to either Agarest or Monster Monpiece series. According to the latest issue of Dengeki Playstation however the title will be named Moerok Chronicle and is completely separate from both titles.
This is set to be an RPG where you play as Io, a young boy who sets out to save the world from disaster at the bequest of his village elder. He does this while joined by his friends such as Leche (Who is the daughter of a Nekomata), Otton (Pictured to the left), Lilia (The daughter of a fenrir) and Koko who has yet to be described.
Moerok Chronicles is set for release in Japan on the 24th April 2014 for the Playstation Vita, with no international release planned. But with Idea Factory International now formed and targeting the worldwide audience, it may be lucky enough to see a localization. The character designs will be handled by Katsuyuki Hirano of Agarest: Generations of War acclaim… so I will let you imagine what the characters will look like.
Keep an eye out for more news on the game from tomorrow, when it is supposed to be formally announced in Japan.
