During this year’s Anime Expo, video game and visual novel licensor/publisher Sekai Project confirmed that CreSpirit/Stortia’s dramatic visual novel A Light in The Dark will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Q3 2022. A final release date has yet to be confirmed, but expect to hear more about it in the coming weeks and months. Furthermore, the publisher confirmed that the already released PC version will be receiving a Japanese Voice Acting update, keeping parity with the upcoming console versions.
The release features a Japanese language and voice addition, featuring the anime voice talents of Yurika Kubo (Hanayo Koizumi, Love Live!; Kaede Azusagawa, Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai; Loki, Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon?) and Kana Ichinose (Ichigo, DARLING in the FRANXX; Tuesday, Carole & Tuesday; Yuzuriha Ogawa, Dr. Stone; Maki Shijou, Kaguya-sama: Love is War).
A Light in the Dark was originally crowdfunded on Kickstarter in February 2018 and released on Steam in June 2018. This title was developed by CreSpirit (Developers of Rabi-Ribi), Storia (Developers of Dong-jin Rice-hime) and Narrator (Developers of Companion).
