Degica to Bring Nurse Love Duology to Nintendo Switch on Boxing Day 1

Straight back to releasing games after Christmas, publisher Degica have confirmed they will be publishing their English localisations of Nurse Love Syndrome and Nurse Love Addiction on the Nintendo Switch from Boxing Day (26 December 2019). Both visual novels will be released as a digital exclusive via the Nintendo eShop.

First developed by Japanese developer Kogado Studio for the PlayStation Portable in 2011, Degica began working on the duology with their 2016 PC release of Nurse Love Addiction. Since then they have continued their localisation efforts, bringing both Nurse Love Addiction and Nurse Love Syndrome to both the PlayStation Vita and Windows PC. While taking a bit longer to arrive on the Nintendo Switch compared to the Japanese market, the wait is almost over.

Unlike quite a few visual novels on the market and despite what their titles may or may not imply, both Nurse Love Syndrome and Nurse Love Addiction are “all ages” friendly. Neither title has an adult-only version available in either Western or Japanese markets. That said, the titles do have some mature content, specifically: “Mild Blood, Mild Violence, Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes and Use of Alcohol“.

NURSE LOVE ADDICTION

Asuka Osachi, a ditzy and easy-going girl, graduates from high school and enrolls in Teito Nursing School along with her younger sister, Nao.

With their two classmates Itsuki and Sakuya and their instructor Kaede, the girls will experience what it means to be an adult… and a nurse.

They’ll laugh and cry together as they wade through this confusing time in their lives.

Decide how Asuka and her friends will spend their three years at Teito Nursing School!

NURSE LOVE SYNDROME

Meet cheerful Kaori Sawai, fresh out of nursing school, as she joins Yurigahama Hospital. Surviving a near death experience as a child left her with a desire to become a nurse and “healing hands” that let her relieve pain in patients just by touching them.

Written by real life nurses Sakura Sakura and Madoka Madoka, Nurse Love Syndrome shares the same world as Nurse Love Addiction. Focusing on young adults fresh out of school, guide Kaori in her story of growth, love, and medicine.
