Sekai Project Begin Crowdfunding Campaign for A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk 1

During Anime Boston in March 2016, western visual novel publisher Sekai Project confirmed their acquisition of Unison Shift’s visual novel Tokeijikake no Ley Line -Tasogaredoki no Kyoukaisen- (時計仕掛けのレイライン -黄昏時の境界線-), which they will be releasing under the localised title A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk

Closely following their Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the NekoPara OVA, Sekai Project have confirmed the launch of their newest campaign for A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk. Having already surpassed their $60,000 goal as of writing, the publisher was initially seeking $60,000 in funding, which they claim is for “funding a limited edition physical run for collectors and fans to enjoy”.

Sekai Project will be offering A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk as an all-in-one trilogy rather than as standalone titles. This means your purchase will get you not only the main story, but also A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow and A Clockwork Ley-Line: Flowers Falling in the Morning Mist. Both all-ages and unrated versions will be released to the public.

In terms of actually pledging towards an edition, the minimum price you will need to pledge in order to receive a copy of the title is $75, which includes a Steam/Denpasoft/Nutaku version of the Trilogy. Actually getting a copy of the physical boxset will set you back at least $135, which will also come with a digital OST and a digital copy of all three titles. Pledge awards go all the way up to $250.

As of writing, A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk has raised $78,708 from 900 backers. With 27 days to go, time will tell how successful this crowdfunding campaign goes. It does seem likely they will pass the $85,000 stretch goal (the only one at this time), which will see them create a digital (free for backers of $99 or more) and physical (add-on for those who pledge $135 or more) artbook coming at 100 pages in length.
