Right off the back of their crowdfunding campaign for CLANNAD, Sekai Project have managed to amass strong support for their KickStarter campaign of Front Wing’s The Grisaia Trilogy, with 3,560 bakers pleding more than $430,000 USD as of this post. If you wish to pledge some money towards the visual novel, be warned that only 48 hours (or two days) remain before this campaign is closed for good.

The first pledge goal that offers you a copy of the (first) visual novel (The Fruit of Grisaia) will set you back $30 for a digital copy, with subsequent tiers offering digital and physical copies of the first or all three instalments in the franchise. Alternatively, Sekai Project have decided to offer a $1 pledge tier that was unavailable in the early weeks of their Kickstarter campaign. Similar to the one for CLANNAD, this will grant backers access to BackerKit, where they will be able to pledge additional funds up until near-launch. This is being offered as there is the possibility of a PlayStation Vita release or other versions which have yet to be confirmed, which some may want to hear news of prior to pledging the big bucks.

You can check out the Kickstarter page for The Grisaia Trilogy HERE. More information on all three visual novels in the trilogy can be found below:

The Fruit of Grisaia – Grisaia no Kajitsu

“Mihama Academy.” At a glance, it might seem a normal school; but this isolated learning environment is home to a mere five students, all female.

This changes with the arrival of Kazami Yuuji, a transfer student with an uncertain past and a highly idiosyncratic personality.

As Yuuji interacts with his five classmates, all borderline-eccentrics in their own right, they begin to influence each other in unexpected, meaningful ways…

But the deep-seated, painful wounds that have brought these five young women to Mihama are still a fact of their existence. And eventually, our protagonist can no longer remain a spectator.

Will Yuuji’s peculiar set of skills and experiences enable him to open his classmates’ stubbornly-sealed hearts…?

The Labyrinth of Grisaia – Grisaia no Meikyuu

The sequel contains five “After Stories” continuing all of the heroines’ routes from “The Fruit of Grisaia,” in addition to “The Cocoon of Caprice,” a story which touches on Kazami Yuuji’s painful, complex past and explores certain mysteries left unresolved in the previous title. A variety of bonus content is also included, including dozens of brief “Short Stories.”

The Eden of Grisaia – Grisaia no Rakuen

The conclusion to the trilogy consists of “The Seed of Blanc Aile,” directly continuing from The Labyrinth of Grisaia’s main route. Beginning with the protagonist’s sudden disappearance, the story quickly moves toward a dramatic climax, with all the answers revealed at last. Additional contents include “Prologue de la Grisaia,” a side story that depicts the five heroines’ arrival at Mihama Academy, and their time there prior to the arrival of Kazami Yuuji.

    • So do I. I have been hoping that the AUD would somehow jump back up in value a little bit to possibly justify a higher pledge rather than dropping even further these past couple of days.
