Unlike most other KEY works which are eventually adapted into an anime (Like Little Busters!, Clannad, Kanon and Air), Angel Beats! is receiving the opposite treatment where its original hit anime series is being adapted into a visual novel. One of my major gripes about the Angel Beats! anime was that it ultimately ended up being far too short. Hopefully this adaptation will provide a more in-depth look at the universe and its characters.
After being silent on Angel Beats! -1st Beat- for some time, KEY and VisualArt’s have announced that this visual novel will be available for purchase in Japan beginning May 29th 2015.Expect to see and hear more about Angel Beats -1st Beat– in the coming weeks and months.
