While none of these releases ever make their way to the international market which has a growing fanbase through their anime adaptations, visual novels produced by KEY do like making their way to various consoles in the Japanese market. The next port will be for one of the more notable titles, Clannad, which is being released for the first time on the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Vita TV platforms in the coming months.
This release which is being made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the School-life Drama / Romance will feature enhanced visuals at a 960×544 resolution and support with the touchscreen interface. Copies will be available for 4,800 yen at retail with a cheaper download version (4,300 yen) available through the PlayStation Store. A PlayStation Portable version is also able for purchase right now.
