While Lose’s very first visual novel Gothic Delusion featured a main story with unlockable and completely optional 18+ content, they decided to change this with their second and third visual novel project Monobeno and Monobeno: Happy End being more traditional eroge visual novels. It seems like both have sold well enough to warrant a console port.
While no specifics have been detailed yet, Lose and Dramatic Create have announced that they are teaming up for the production of a PlayStation Vita adaptation titled Monobeno: Pure Smile which is set for release later this year. Given past visual releases on Sony’s portable consoles, this is more likely than not going to be a more all-ages friendly release featuring an adapted story of the original, possibly with new content to make up for the lost 18+ content.
