Nikola Tesla’s abandoned laboratory can now be explored on a phone. Developer and publisher Blue Brain Games has released The House of Tesla: Definitive Edition on iOS and Android, marking the first time the puzzle adventure has been available on mobile devices.
The mobile version has been designed with touchscreen controls in mind. It is available on Google Play, and on the App Store a single purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac. The game is priced at $6.99, €6.99 or £6.99.
The House of Tesla is set in Tesla’s deserted Wardenclyffe facility, presented through Blue Brain Games’ take on Progressive Era America. Across five chapters inspired by real places and Tesla’s own plans, players explore empty rooms, follow the traces of his wireless electricity experiments and work out what happened there.
The key tool is a handheld prototype that lets players see and control the flow of electricity. Using it opens up new routes and reveals puzzles hidden within the facility’s machinery. Progress depends on studying the machines, experimenting with electrical systems and using the prototype to uncover the secrets Tesla left behind.
