Bloober Team’s cyberpunk horror detective game is getting a boxed release. Meridiem has announced that Observer System Redux Limited Edition will launch physically for Nintendo Switch 2 on 28 October 2026. Meridiem has designed and manufactured the edition, which comes on a game cartridge and includes a special case, a lenticular 3D postcard, in-game ad cards and digital content.

Observer System Redux is a first-person horror game set in 2084, a bleak future shaped by two disasters. First came the Nanophage, a digital plague that killed vast numbers of people who had chosen to augment their minds and bodies. Then came a war that left both the West and the East in ruins. With nobody left to take charge, corporations stepped in and built their own corrupt empires.
Players take on the role of Daniel Lazarski, an elite investigator known as an Observer, portrayed by the late Rutger Hauer. Observers are feared and despised tools of corporate control, able to hack into suspects’ minds to uncover their feelings, thoughts and memories as evidence. Lazarski’s main tool is the Dream Eater, a device that lets him enter the minds of the dead and dying to relive their final moments. Inside these twisted neural mazes, players explore each person’s fears and obsessions while searching for clues to track down an elusive killer.
