Sim racing hardware manufacturer MOZA Racing is bringing its racing ecosystem to PlayStation 5 consoles for the first time, with the company showcasing its first officially licensed racing products at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The debut marks MOZA’s first officially licensed hardware for PS5 consoles and represents its move into console sim racing, following what the company describes as years of demand from its global racing community.
Three products headline the launch, each built to bring MOZA’s direct-drive force feedback technology to PS5 consoles: the R5S Pro Racing Simulator, the R16S Ultra Racing Simulator and the R16S Ultra Direct Drive Wheel Base.
- The R5S Pro Racing Simulator is an all-in-one direct-drive setup that combines a wheel base, steering wheel and pedals in a single package, aimed at racers looking for an accessible entry point into a full MOZA rig.
- The R16S Ultra Racing Simulator is pitched as a premium, high-performance option, pairing the R16S wheel base with a steering wheel to deliver direct-drive force feedback for more experienced sim racers seeking a more advanced driving experience.
- The R16S Ultra Direct Drive Wheel Base is a standalone unit designed for flexibility, letting users pair it with a compatible MOZA steering wheel of their choice. MOZA says this gives existing users of its hardware more freedom to configure and expand their own setup.
Alongside the hardware announcement, MOZA is beginning a collaboration with Polyphony Digital to develop a racing wheel controller with native support for Gran Turismo 7. The integration is intended to give PS5 racers a more direct and seamless way to use MOZA hardware in the title. From launch, MOZA’s PS5 racing lineup will support Gran Turismo 7 along with a selection of compatible racing titles, with the aim of letting players get behind the wheel and start racing as soon as their setup is ready.
