Studio Monoblok has confirmed that its isometric bullet heaven roguelite Endless Rails will launch for PC via Steam on 30 September 2026, alongside the release of a new trailer showcasing its train based survival gameplay. Endless Rails places players in control of an ever expanding train travelling through a hostile wasteland. Rather than firing weapons directly, players command a fleet of auto firing drones that orbit the train and attack waves of enemies attempting to bring the journey to an end.
Each stretch of track between stations is designed as a short, action focused encounter lasting around 20 to 30 seconds. Reaching a station gives players an opportunity to spend collected coins on new train cars, weapons, drone slots and buffs before setting out again. Train composition also plays a major role in progression. Cars can be reordered to adjust a build or merged together to improve their strength and unlock additional module slots, allowing players to develop different combinations of weapons, drones and upgrades during each attempt.
Progress continues between runs through a permanent upgrade tree, with resources earned during failed or completed attempts able to provide advantages for future journeys. Survival remains the central objective, with Studio Monoblok noting that reaching Station 20 is already considered a strong run. There is no fixed finishing point, however, with the railway continuing for as long as the player can survive.
At launch, Endless Rails will feature multiple train cars, weapons, drone types and buffs to combine, alongside its merging system, permanent progression mechanics and fast paced combat designed around shorter play sessions and repeated runs.
