Two Point Studios and SEGA have released a new free Digiverse update for Two Point Museum, bringing content inspired by Massive Monster’s Cult of the Lamb into the museum management game.
Available now, the collaboration introduces new Points of Interest, exhibits, decorations and progression systems centred around building a Museum Cult and earning Devotion from visitors. The Digiverse is an expanding expedition map within Two Point Museum that allows players to travel to locations inspired by different universes and return with new exhibits and decorative items.
As part of the Cult of the Lamb collaboration, museum managers can construct a Shrine that generates Devotion from guests. This resource can then be spent through a new Cult Rewards tree to unlock decorations and upgrades. Guests can also become followers of the Museum Cult, with loyal followers providing additional Devotion, museum Buzz and donations.
Expedition teams will be able to travel to four new Points of Interest inspired by Cult of the Lamb, including locations within Darkwood, Silk Cradle and Anura. Exploring these areas can unlock additional exhibits, decorations and upgrades. Several new exhibits are also included, such as the Drum Circle, The Offering Statue and The Temple. The Temple gives players access to Rituals, which can be performed by spending Devotion to provide bonuses to the museum.
The update also introduces four Workshop crafted exhibits, while the Lamb can appear as a roaming exhibit within the museum. Staff members can be trained in the Cult of the Museum, providing another way to build loyalty while reducing their salary expectations. Further rewards can be unlocked through the Cult Rewards tree, including additional decorative items and upgrades for Cult of the Lamb exhibits.
Two Point Museum is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
