Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that a new version of its horror adventure title, Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition, is scheduled to arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2. The publisher has set a release date of 29 May 2026 for this updated iteration of the sequel.
This specific edition has been developed to leverage the capabilities of Nintendo’s latest hardware. Compared to the original release on the standard Nintendo Switch, this version will feature a higher resolution and a variety of improved visual effects to enhance the atmospheric presentation of the game.
The narrative follows a young protagonist named Mono who is confined within a world that has been warped by a persistent humming transmission. This signal originates from a distant structure known as The Signal Tower, which serves as the central destination for the story. During his journey, Mono encounters Six, the recurring character known for her distinct yellow raincoat. Acting as a guide, Six assists Mono as they navigate through hazardous environments and confront the residents of the distorted world.
