Sega has launched the Mega Man Pack for its racing title Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, introducing a variety of content inspired by the Capcom franchise to SEGA’s latest racing game. This update allows players to access new playable characters, a themed racing circuit, and additional customisation options. Unlike some other recent DLC released for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, this is paid DLC.
The pack expands the game’s roster with the inclusion of both Mega Man and Proto Man as playable racers. Alongside these characters, players can now use the Rush Roadstar vehicle. The update also introduces the Wily Castle Course, a new track based on the locations from the Mega Man series.
To further theme the experience, several music tracks have been added to the game’s library. These include the Wily Castle theme, the Mega Man character selection music, and a specific audio track for race results. Additionally, both Mega Man and Proto Man feature six unique emotes for use during gameplay.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is currently available for purchase on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. The title is also supported on the Nintendo Switch 2.
