Following their release releases on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch – Idea Factory International has confirmed their delivery service RPG, Calamity Angels: Special Delivery, will be released on PC via Steam on 15 April 2026.
Leading up to the launch, a free demo is currently available to download directly from the game’s Steam page. Players can experience the first two chapters of the story, titled Episode 1: The First Delivery and Episode 2: Of Ruins and Murtamars. The demo allows users to play as either the Type A or Type B version of the protagonist Yuri, while introducing other cast members including Suliya, Somnia, Ivris, Numero, and Selma.
Set in the Orkotris Region, the core gameplay loop of Calamity Angels: Special Delivery involves managing a delivery team known as the Cutie Angels. Players accept quests from a Bulletin Board, pack parcels to ensure there are no gaps, and equip their team with tools to handle monsters and rival delivery groups across various terrains. Navigation is handled through a roulette spin system that moves the party across a board, landing on spaces that can trigger shops, boss encounters, or special item drops.
Combat features a mood mechanic that requires players to monitor their crew’s disposition. If characters become unhappy, they may ignore direct commands, though these unprompted actions can sometimes result in unexpected positive outcomes during encounters. The game features character designs by Kei Nanameda, whose previous credits include Mary Skelter and Death end re;Quest.
