The developers noted that this entry features the largest and densest map in the series to date. The cover cars were identified as the 2025 GR GT Prototype and the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser. Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled for release on 19 May 2026.
The studio also provided an update on Fable, the reboot of the long-running RPG franchise. Playground Games confirmed an Autumn 2026 release window for the title. The presentation offered a look at the reimagined world of Albion, demonstrating the start of the narrative, combat mechanics, and character customisation. The developers highlighted the return of the series’ classic morality system, which has been reintroduced alongside a “Living Population” of non-player characters.
Double Fine Productions announced a new title, Kiln, described as an online multiplayer “pottery-party brawler.” The game is set to launch in Spring 2026. The core gameplay loop involves players crafting ceramic armour to determine their combat abilities before engaging in battle. A closed beta is planned for the future, with sign-ups currently available for those seeking advance access.
Game Freak, the studio best known for the Pokémon series, presented details on their first AAA action RPG outside of that franchise. Titled Beast of Reincarnation, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan in the year 4026 AD and is scheduled for a Summer 2026 launch. The narrative follows two protagonists, Emma and Koo. Emma is a “sealer” afflicted by “blight,” a condition that grants her plant manipulation powers but has left her isolated and void of memory or emotion. Koo is a “malefact,” a creature usually considered a threat to the world. The pair travel to the West to confront the “Beast of Reincarnation,” the source of the blight which transforms landscapes into dense forests. To succeed, they must defeat giant malefacts known as “Nushi” and absorb their powers.
The title is pitched as a “one-person, one-dog action RPG.” Combat combines fast-paced action with tactical elements. Players control Emma using katana attacks and parries. Successful parries generate points that allow the player to trigger Koo’s abilities via a command menu.
