Sunblink and Sanrio have released the fourth major content update for their life simulation title Hello Kitty Island Adventure. This update is now available for download across Nintendo Switch platforms, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
The update introduces a range of new features and adjustments to the game. Players now have access to a new amphibian avatar type within the character customization menu. In terms of gameplay, the patch adds moon-based gardening activities, along with upgrades to the inventory system. Several quality-of-life tweaks have also been implemented.
In addition to the permanent content updates, the seasonal Lighttime Jubilee event is set to return from Thursday. Running from 18 December to 15 January, this event brings an aurora theme to the island. During this period, players are tasked with helping characters Badtz-maru and Chococat gather light bulbs to illuminate Friendship Island.
Simultaneously, the Little Twin Stars will be celebrating the Aurora Amicus, also known as The Friendship Lights. The collected light bulbs can be traded in for new rewards, including luminous outfits and furnishing items.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and Apple Arcade.
