Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that new content is scheduled to arrive for the action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot in early 2026. This upcoming update, titled the DAIMA Pack Part 2, will introduce a new playable character form, a boss encounter, and additional enemies situated within the Demon Realm.
The update features Vegeta (Mini) as a playable character. Despite his diminished stature, the character retains a range of combat abilities. His moveset includes the Armor Strike, which is designed to deliver a heavy physical blow to opponents. Additionally, Vegeta (Mini) can utilise the Arc Shot. This technique fires a high-speed shockwave intended to corner enemies and create openings for subsequent attacks.
Players will also be able to explore the First Demon World where they will encounter new adversaries. Among these new foes is the Gendarmerie Tank, a heavy unit capable of executing powerful ranged and charge attacks. The expansion also adds Gendarmerie Officers to the enemy roster. These opponents are noted for their strength and ability to summon reinforcements to attack from multiple angles.
Another focal point of the DAIMA Pack Part 2 is a boss battle against Tamagami Number Two, the guardian of the Two-Star Dragon Ball. This boss utilises tornado-based abilities to nullify incoming damage and push players away. Tamagami Number Two possesses specific combat techniques such as the Crosswave Slash, which releases a fast, cross-shaped shockwave. Another ability, Vortex Strike, allows the boss to summon a massive whirlpool to overwhelm challengers.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is currently available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
