Video game publisher Edia has released the Telenet Shooting Collection Launcher on Steam, collecting four classic shooters from Japanese developer Nihon Telenet and its Wolf Team label. Through a dedicated launcher, players can download each game as individual DLC priced at $4.99 USD. Additionally, a set of digital soundtracks are also available to purchase for $1.99 USD apiece.
The four games available as part of the Telenet Shooting Collection include:
Granada: An all-direction scrolling tank shooter where you pilot the armored vehicle Granada, lock firing angles, and take on large-scale bosses.
Avenger: A strategic helicopter shooter featuring branching missions and high difficulty as you attempt to reclaim the superweapon VOLOS.
Gaiares: A system-driven shooter built around absorbing enemy weapons to expand your own arsenal while defending Earth.
Psychic Storm: A two-player co-op shooter with large bosses, fighter transformations, and a screen-clearing Psychic Storm attack.
While preserving the look and design of the original PC Engine and Mega Drive versions, the Steam releases also sets out to include several quality-of-life options. Players can remap controls, use a rewind function, apply video filters and display settings, and take advantage of full Steam Input support. Steam Achievements are included for each title.
