During the recent Xbox Partner Showcase event, the worldwide premiere of Armatus was shown, a new third person roguelite shooter from Counterplay Games that introduced players to The Vanishing, a mysterious cataclysm that has brought about the end of the world and left demonic horrors roaming the ruins of Paris. The new trailer showcases the masked warrior protagonist, summoned and heavily armed to battle these nightmarish foes, while teasing a still unknown personal motivation and a story steeped in gothic horror. Armatus is set to launch in 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, and will be available day one via Xbox Game Pass.
