Attempting a second pass at Yooka-Laylee with the fittingly titled Yooka-Replaylee, PM Studios and Playtonic have confirmed that digital will not be the only way to go with this experience. A physical edition is in the works, with a boxed version to be offered on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 starting 18 December 2025.
Each retail copy includes the base game on each console’s respective physical medium, a collectible game map poster and an exclusive character sticker pack. All platforms are set at a suggested retail price of 49.99 USD or local equivalent.
Billed as a rebuilt and enhanced take on 3D platformer Yooka-Laylee, Yooka-Replaylee brings back chameleon and bat duo Yooka and Laylee across large open worlds. The remaster highlights remixed challenges alongside returning content, an expanded map, a new in-game currency and a range of customization options, supported by an orchestral soundtrack. The project draws on key creative talent behind Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong Country.
