Ubisoft used The Crew Showcase 2025 to unveil what is coming to The Crew Motorfest. Season 8 begins on 5 November 2025 and opens a three season slate that aims to mix new playlists, deeper customization, community features and an all new Year 3 Pass.
Season 8 dives into street culture with the Street Riders playlist. Players join the secret crew Monkeys’ Kitchen for free route races, fully customized builds, new Stance tuning and more than 40 new branded wheel rims. A parallel BMW partnership playlist celebrates the brand’s heritage and tech, including first access to the new BMW M2 CS as an exclusive.
Year 3 also aims to bring broader personalization and competition updates. Rim materials and colors can be modified, branded models can be equipped, and vehicle stance is fully adjustable. The Grand Race gains a refreshed progression and ranking system designed to sharpen the competitive loop.
PC players get portability too. The Crew Motorfest is now Steam Deck verified, letting fans take the festival on the go.
To celebrate the new season, all players who log in within three days of the showcase receive a free car. A new Friend Pass allows Motorfest owners to invite up to three friends to play for free in Crew mode with no time limit. The Year 3 Pass delivers 21 new vehicles, with four available on day one and a further 165 released via monthly drops. Owners of the Year 1 or Year 2 Passes will also receive the Cadillac CIEL Concept 2011 as an exclusive bonus.
Looking ahead, Season 9 arrives in March, featuring a collaboration with NASCAR, the debut of Track Forge for creating and sharing custom tracks, and remote controlled cars for free roam and event play.
Ubisoft also reaffirmed long term support for The Crew 2 with a new hybrid online and offline mode introduced, hopefully meaning that there will not be a future situation like with the first The Crew game.
The Crew Motorfest is available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
