SEGA has released their first major piece of post-launch DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, making the Minecraft Pack available to players. This content drop lets players race as Steve, Alex and a creeper while tearing through a Minecraft World course that recreates the pixelated, blocky aesthetic.
The add on includes the Minecart vehicle, six Minecart decals, five original Minecraft music tracks, new remixes of Minecraft tracks and six character emotes per racer. The Minecraft World course joins the rotation so fans can drift, boost and time shortcuts inside a familiar voxel landscape.
Players who want even more content can pick up the Season Pass, which is sold separately or available via the game’s Deluxe Edition and adds additional characters, vehicles and courses across its rollout – with the Minecraft Pack being the first of such content. The Minecraft Pack can also be purchased as a standalone item. Those who do not own the Minecraft Pack can still race online against players who do, and they will be matched on the Minecraft World course alongside Minecraft characters. That means the community stays together across standard and DLC content in online play.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will be available in early 2026 release.
