Following the game’s debut on PC earlier in the year, Green Tile Digital and THQ Nordic have brought the tranquil train-conducting adventure Locomoto onto the Nintendo Switch.
Locomoto positions itself within the increasingly popular “cozy game” space, placing players in control of a customisable locomotive and its conductor. Whether it’s outfitting your train cars with homely furnishings or choosing outfits that match your mood, the game encourages a slow-paced, personal journey through hand-drawn landscapes.
The experience aims to continue the cozy vibe through using a mellow lo-fi soundtrack and a narrative that unfolds through short quests and warm encounters with anthropomorphic animal passengers. Rather than action or high stakes, Locomoto leans into slice-of-life storytelling, offering moments of reflection and calm with each stop along the track.
