A new content update for Shotgun Cop Man has launched on PC and Nintendo Switch, introducing 51 additional levels in a free DLC inspired by My Friend Pedro. Released by DeadToast and Devolver Digital, the downloadable content offers players new challenges and gameplay elements that pay homage to the slow-motion action of the original banana-fuelled shooter.
In this crossover scenario, Pedro – the sentient banana from My Friend Pedro – has found himself in Hell. Fortunately, Shotgun Cop Man is also there, and he’s armed and ready to restore order. The update incorporates acrobatic slow-motion mechanics, along with new traversal tools such as skateboards, frying pans, swing ropes, and zip-lines. Players will also encounter breakable windows and three boss fights designed to evoke characters and encounters from My Friend Pedro.
This DLC comes at no cost to current players of Shotgun Cop Man. In addition, to mark the occasion and the sixth anniversary of My Friend Pedro, both games are being discounted on Steam. Shotgun Cop Man is currently available at 20% off, while My Friend Pedro is on sale at an 80% discount for a limited time.
