After being a PlayStation console exclusive for so many years, the Everybody’s Golf franchise is coming to almost all the major consoles later this year. Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots will be released on 5 September 2025. Developed by HYDE, the game will launch for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, with digital pre-orders now open for PlayStation 5.
The upcoming title builds on the franchise’s foundations with improved visuals, expanded character options, and new gameplay modes. It also features the largest character roster in the series to date, offering increased personalisation and variety for players.
At launch, Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots will retain the series’ signature three-button shot system, which has long served as its hallmark. Players will need to carefully time their button presses to line up the perfect shot. While accessible to newcomers, mastering the mechanic and becoming a golf ace will offer an ongoing challenge.
Players can take to the course either solo or with friends, supporting both local couch co-op and online multiplayer. Multiple modes will be available at release, including Challenge Mode and Solo Play. Courses are inspired by ten different real-world locations, each with its own distinct hazards and terrain. Additional features such as dynamic weather and time-of-day changes add further complexity and strategic depth to each match.
Those who pre-order Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots will unlock Pac-Man as a playable character.
