Ubisoft has revealed its Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, outlining a slate of free content updates and expansions aimed at enhancing the live game experience throughout the year. The updates will not only seek to feature new story content and collaborations, but also gameplay improvements, and rewards—all available to players at no additional cost.
Among the first updates, arriving in May and June, are parkour improvements that have been implemented in response to community feedback. These refinements aim to enhance traversal and fluidity across the game world—one of the most requested features from players.
Ubisoft confirmed that more specific information on upcoming content and features will be shared in the near future.
Looking further ahead, the ‘Claws of Awaji’ expansion is scheduled to launch later in 2025. This major update will introduce a new open-world region and over 10 hours of additional gameplay.
