Ubisoft has unveiled the first trailer A Pirate’s Fortune, the second story expansion for Star Wars Outlaws, during this year’s Star Wars Celebration. Launching on 15 May 2025, the DLC introduces a new storyline focused on pirates, buried treasure, and a clash with a new crew of galactic raiders. Additionally, a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game is now confirmed for release on 4 September.
In A Pirate’s Fortune, players once again take control of Kay Vess and her companion Nix as they partner with familiar character Hondo Ohnaka. Together, they will take on the Rokana Raiders and their leader Stinger Tash, infiltrating the Khepi Tomb in search of hidden relics. Along the way, players will encounter the Miyuki Trade League, a new faction offering smuggling missions and rewards in exchange for high-risk transport jobs. Access to this new content requires completion of the main campaign in the base game.
The expansion will be included at no additional cost for Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass holders and will also be available as a standalone purchase. Players who own the Ultimate or Deluxe Editions will receive additional cosmetic content including the Naboo Nobility and Desert Nomad packs.
A free three-hour demo of the base game is now available on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC via Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
Alongside the DLC launch, a new title update will be rolled out on 15 May. As part of this update, all players will receive cosmetic items inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, including new customisation options for Nix and the in-game speeder. These items will appear in the delivery crate on the player’s ship, the Trailblazer, after installation.
