The game is positioned as a canonical entry within the broader Legend of Zelda timeline.
Players will engage in combat as Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and other recognisable figures from the franchise, offering fans of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom a new perspective on Hyrule’s past through the action-focused lens of the Hyrule Warriors gameplay style.
