Guardian Tales is inviting players to plunge into its latest update, as World 21: La Ventura launches with a host of new features. The update introduces an underwater city, a new hero, the Grade 6 ‘Myth’ system, and more content waiting to be explored beneath the surface.
Set in the vibrant deep-sea city of La Ventura, built with the advanced technology of the Ancients, players will continue their quest to uncover the secrets surrounding the barrier around Kanterbury Castle. Along the way, they will encounter Main Eventer Callie, the arena’s celebrated star fighter, known for her exceptional combat skills, dynamic showmanship, and striking appearance.
A major highlight of the update is the introduction of the Myth system. This new growth mechanic allows heroes to break through existing level caps, reaching up to level 150. Upon reaching Grade 6, heroes can unlock powerful new Leader skills, delivering wide-area attacks and granting temporary stat boosts to the party. The first heroes to access the Myth system are Eunha, AA72, and Callie, each accompanied by new narrative cutscenes.
Access to the Myth system is tied to a new side story. As Bob and Mina find themselves in grave danger, players will join the Knight, Kate, and Linda on a mission through newly designed dungeons to save their friends and uncover the origins of Myth.

To mark the launch of World 21, Kakao Games is offering a range of rewards. Players who log in during the first month will receive 3,000 free gems. A limited-time event will also grant players up to 50 free summons, available at a rate of 10 summons per day across two weeks. Alongside the new content, players will find lowered difficulty across Worlds 12 to 18, and improved reward rates in the Evolution Stone and Awakening Stone dungeons, providing further opportunities for character development and exploration.
