XD Games has announced that Torchlight: Infinite will receive its next major content update, titled Sandlord, on 17 April 2025 at 7:00 PM PDT. This update, part of the game’s eighth seasonal expansion (SS8), will introduce new content that takes players above the clouds in search of treasure and adventure.
In Sandlord, players will explore airborne realms, facing new challenges and adversaries in a high-altitude setting. The season aims to blend strategic gameplay and exploration with a focus on airborne battles and resource gathering.
The update also coincides with the game’s second anniversary. To mark the occasion, XD Games will host in-game celebrations and offer special giveaways.
Ahead of the season launch, an official Sandlord season preview livestream is scheduled for 12 April 2025 at 10:00 AM [PDT]. The livestream will feature commentary from the development team, showcase new features and systems, and provide an overview of what players can expect in the upcoming season.
