Originally released in Japan during the early 2000s by KID Co., Ltd., the Infinity Series is known for its science fiction suspense narratives involving time loops. While each game tells an independent story, they share thematic elements of mystery and suspense.
Ever 17 – The Out of Infinity follows the story of Takeshi Kuranari, a college student who becomes trapped with six others inside the underwater theme park LeMU, 51 metres below the surface. Alongside characters such as Tsugumi and You, Takeshi searches for a way to escape as they face a series of escalating crises.
Never 7 – The End of Infinity meanwhile centres on Makoto Ishihara, who experiences a disturbing dream in which a girl dies. What begins as an ordinary seminar training camp takes a dark turn on April 6th, as unease gives way to tragedy. Players must navigate the unfolding events to determine whether Makoto can prevent the disaster and reach the seventh day.
