thatgamecompany has announced the return of Days of Bloom, the annual spring celebration in Sky: Children of the Light, running from 24 March to 13 April. This year’s event revisits one of the game’s past collaborations, bringing back Le Petit Prince and allowing players to once again experience its timeless story.
First introduced in 2021, the Season of the Little Prince saw Sky: Children of the Light offer its adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s classic tale. As part of Sky x Le Petit Prince Encore, the full series of Little Prince quests will return with their original full-colour presentation, a change from their previous black-and-white appearance.
Players can begin their journey by meeting a guide in Aviary Village or Home, leading them to Starlight Desert, the event’s central hub. Here, they can explore scenic locations from the original collaboration, revisit the Prince’s story, and engage with rose messages—interactive notes that emerge from the ground, offering reflections based on prompts inspired by Le Petit Prince’s themes.
Additionally, Days of Bloom will introduce seasonal transformations to the game’s world. Blossoms and wildflowers will gradually bloom across Home, Hidden Forest, Forgotten Ark, and Prairie Peaks, encouraging players to explore and discover hidden details, along with potential bonus event currency.
Sky: Children of the Light is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStatio 5, mobile devices, and the PC via Steam.
