Italian indie studio VOXEL Studios, alongside publisher Noovola, has released the first gameplay trailer for The Bench, a puzzle adventure set to launch on PC in 2025.
In addition to the trailer, a free demo will be available from 24 February as part of Steam Next Fest, allowing players to experience the game ahead of its full release.
In The Bench, players take on the role of a spirited pensioner equipped with a walking stick, a notebook, and an endless supply of bread. Dissatisfied with retirement home life, he embarks on a whimsical escape plan, assisted by a flock of pigeons. By cracking eggs to summon his feathered allies, players can command their pigeon army to collect objects, play minigames, and navigate a vibrant world by tossing bread to jump between benches.
