The Disney Lorcana Challenge Melbourne is set to take place on 1-2 February 2025, providing opportunities for both competitive and casual fans of the Disney Lorcana trading card game. With tickets available for both the Main Event and Side Events, attendees can enjoy a variety of gameplay experiences and unique rewards.
Side Events for Attendees
The Attendee Side Event Ticket ($30) is ideal for casual players or those not participating in the Main Event. This ticket includes complimentary entry into one scheduled Pack Rush event and offers a range of play formats, including Pack Rush, Constructed, Sealed, and Draft options. Participants can win prizes such as Disney Lorcana playmats, apparel, and cards.
Attendees can also meet Melbourne-based illustrator Matt Chapman, known for his work on Disney Lorcana TCG and Disney franchises like Aladdin, The Lion King, and DuckTales. Chapman will be signing autographs and engaging with fans during the event.
The Main Event
The Main Event Competitive Ticket ($80) caters to competitive players, featuring two days of structured play and in turn, more substantial rewards.
Day 1: Nine Swiss Rounds (Core Constructed format).
Day 2: The top 64 players progress to single-elimination rounds (best-of-three matches).
Participants will have the chance to earn exclusive promo cards, playmats, and serialized cards, with the top players qualifying for the Disney Lorcana Worlds Tournament. Prizes on offer, ranging from cards to trophies, include:
