The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox app on Windows PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5, as well as launching on day one with Game Pass.
Set in Arcadia, a new colony central to the development of skip drive technology, players take on the role of an Earth Directorate agent investigating galaxy-threatening rifts. Before its release, The Outer Worlds 2 will feature in Secret Level, an anthology series streaming on Prime Video. A short story bridging The Outer Worlds and its sequel will premiere on 17 December, offering fans an early glimpse into the next chapter of the franchise.
