Idea Factory International has announced that the planned Nintendo Switch releases of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 Sisters Generation, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3 V Generation, and Death end re;Quest: Code Z have been cancelled for North America and Europe.
Originally scheduled to launch on the Nintendo eShop on 21 May 2024, the Neptunia titles, alongside Death end re;Quest: Code Z (due for release in 2025), will no longer be released on the platform “due to the contents [… of the games …] not complying with the Nintendo Guidelines.
This cancellation applies specifically to the Nintendo Switch and eShop versions of the titles in North America and Europe. Fans of the series can still enjoy the upcoming release of Death end re;Quest: Code Z on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms when it launches next year.
