Kill It With Fire 2, the sci-fi sequel to the first-person spider-hunting game from developer Casey Donnellan Games and publisher tinyBuild, has received its latest update, dubbed “Cybercore,” now available on PC via Steam.
The update introduces a new dimensional level called “Cybercore,” a former space fleet training program overrun by spiders. Players can navigate platforming puzzles with jump packs, collect tokens to access various minigames, and earn tickets for prizes. The update adds two new spider types: minigame spiders, which yield tickets based on their color, and glitch spiders, which multiply into smaller, faster variants when squashed, offering higher ticket rewards.
New weapons expand the extermination arsenal, including the Decompiler, a tool that breaks down spiders and objects into bits. Players can use these bits in compiler mode to craft ammo, exploding barrels, or even a spider companion. Drones, a returning feature from the original game, now include a bullet-hell attack mode and a new drone racing minigame.
Kill It With Fire 2 is available now on PC via Steam Early Access for $14.99 USD.
