FuturLab and Square Enix Collective have announced the upcoming release of their next DLC for PowerWash Simulator, based on the iconic animated feature film Shrek. Set for release on 10 October 2024, PowerWash Simulator: Shrek Special Pack will be available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch platforms as paid downloadable content.
In this special pack, players are tasked with cleaning iconic locations from the Shrek universe, using their trusty power washers to bring them back to their vibrant, fairy-tale glory. Some of the locations include:
Shrek’s Swamp: Return Shrek’s swamp to its former glory after it’s been covered in glittery goop. You can even explore his home – but not before cleaning off the gunk!
Duloc: Discover a collection of art left behind by some disgruntled knights as you scrub the place clean.
Fairy Godmother’s Potion Factory: Recreated from Shrek 2, you’ll need to de-gunk working machinery to keep the potion empire running smoothly.
Dragon’s Lair: Clean up the treasure hoard and uncover more than just gold and gems – a treat for fans of the series.
Hansel’s Honeymoon Hideaway: Bring this candy-coated cottage back to its gingerbread glory in this detailed clean-up job.
Players will receive messages from familiar characters throughout their cleaning adventure, and as usual, the campaign can be enjoyed solo or with friends in co-op mode. Up to six players can also team up for free play, just be sure to decide whose makin’ the waffles for that party.
