Hatsune Miku Joins Fitness Boxing in New Nintendo Switch Release

Aksys Games has announced that the Fitness Boxing series has expanded with a new title now available on the Nintendo Switch, titled Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku. Players can engage in fitness routines alongside popular Piapro characters, including this edition’s namesake, Hatsune Miku, in either the classic Fitness Boxing mode or a new “Miku Exercise” mode. This new feature adds original songs to enhance workout sessions, alongside the usual warm-up options, difficulty levels, and daily exercise tracking systems found in previous games.

In addition to Hatsune Miku, familiar instructors from the series, Lin and Evan, will return to support players through their workouts. The game includes 24 Piapro songs, such as Melt and The Vampire, as well as new tracks like the main theme, Let’s Mikusercise!! by cosMo@Bousou-P. This is in addition to 30 music tracks from previous entries in the series.

Every week starting 19 September 2024 for four weeks, an additional piece of paid DLC will be released for the game, including a Miku Exercise Editor, two Exercise BGM packs featuring additional songs, and an additional ‘Sakura Miku’ costume.

Key features of Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku include:

  • Training alongside Piapro characters, including Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, and Megurine Luka.
  • Access to 24 classic and special Piapro songs for workout routines.
  • Guidance from Lin and Evan, the returning Fitness Boxing instructors.
  • A choice between the original Fitness Boxing mode or the new “Miku Exercise” mode.
  • Special sporty outfits designed by Iwato for the Piapro characters.
  • A two-player option, allowing users to pass a Joy-Con controller to a workout partner.
