Over the weekend, 10:10 Games revealed new videos, images, casting announcements, and more for the upcoming action-adventure game Funko Fusion during their San Diego Comic-Con panel.
In addition to a new story trailer, available above, this panel also notably unveiled one of the game’s major antagonists. Menacingly voiced by Clancy Brown, known for roles in The Shawshank Redemption, Highlander, Invincible, and Detroit: Become Human, the trailer introduced fans to Funko Fusion‘s villain, Eddy.
Eddy is portrayed as a powerful shapeshifting counterpart to Freddy Funko with the ability to possess characters from various pop culture-inspired worlds. This villain aims for total domination by corrupting characters from franchises including Jurassic World, Back to the Future, The Thing, Chucky, and more. Players will build their own teams of heroes, each equipped with unique tools for combat and puzzles, to fight against Eddy’s forces.

A special line of Funko Fusion Funko Pop! figures based on select in-game characters will be available later this year on Funko.com and select global retailers. Exclusive in-game bonus characters and outfits can be unlocked by redeeming codes included with the Funko Fusion Pop! figures, featuring items like Mecha Freddy and the Slime Pit variant for He-Man. This content adds to the over 60 characters and their Variant outfits already included in Funko Fusion.
Funko Fusion will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on 13 September 2024, and for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 a couple of months later on 15 November 2024.
