Closely following GIANTS Software announcing their ongoing development of Farming Simulator 25, and with their annual Farming Simulator fan convention scheduled to take place this weekend at the Fendt Forum in Marktoberdorf, Germany – the developer and publisher has confirmed they will be hosting a dedicated pre-stream tonight. The English-language pre-stream is set to take place on 4 July 2024 at 3am AEST via the game’s official Youtube channel.
What can you expect? The pre-stream is set to provide a glimpse at the improvements in the GIANTS Engine 10, one of the new maps, a selection of virtual machinery, and a peek at how players will harvest rice, a new crop being introduced in Farming Simulator 25.
Those in attendance at FarmCon this weekend in Germany will enjoy a range of events. The live stage program on Saturday will feature presentations from Boris Stefan (CSO), showcasing the Collector’s Edition and more of the lineup. This will be followed by Stefan Geiger (CTO), who will present various technical enhancements to Farming Simulator 25 and its proprietary engine. Fans can then join Senior Level Designer Florian Busse on a virtual tour of Riverbend Springs, observing new machinery presented by Manuel Leithner (Lead Gameplay Programmer) and Stefan Maurus (Gameplay Programmer & Lead Integrator). Open Q&A sessions will follow these presentations.
Additionally, game shows with English and German content creators are being hosted. Members of the Fendt team will also provide personal insights into their work and the offerings of the internationally renowned manufacturer.
Competitions will also be a feature of the program, with the FSL World Championships to crown the Season 5 winners on stage. On Sunday, modding and scripting-related presentations and Q&As will conclude FarmCon, providing content for engaged creators and modders within the community.
Farming Simulator 25 will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC starting 12 November 2024.
