When Nippon Ichi Software America (NIS America) publish Furyu’s latest Action RPG REYNATIS in Late-September 2024, players are not only getting access to the full base game, but also access to a crossover collaboration with Square Enix’s NEO: The World Ends with You.
NIS America has shared the below minute-long preview trailer for the game, which focuses exclusively on some of the content players can expect from the crossover events. It specifically showcases a meeting in Shibuya between the main characters Marin Kinzumi and Moa Fukamachi, with Shoka Sakurane of NEO: TWEWY’s Shinjuku Reapers.
The crossover will see Marin and the other find Reaper Pins, emblematic of the TWEWY series, and end up stepping into a different Shibuya from the one they are used to. There, they begin to run into strange new enemies from TWEWY, the ‘Noise’. As they progress in a mission delivered to their phones, the encounter Shoka, and discover they are unable to return to their world until they beat this version of the Reaper’s Game.
REYNATIS is an atmospheric urban fantasy set in a realistic recreation of Shibuya, Tokyo, where the ultimate clash between magic and order is about to unfold. Seeking freedom through strength, the wizard Marin heads to Shibuya, where he meets Sari, an officer of the M.E.A., an organization dedicated to keeping wizards under control.
In development for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, REYNATIS is scheduled for release internationally starting 27 September 2024.
