Now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC, Ubisoft has today released a 20th Anniversary Edition of Beyond Good & Evil.
This is not set to just be a simple re-release of the game, and has been updated to feature improved performance up to 4K resolution at 60 FPS, various quality-of-life improvements, an Anniversary Gallery, a Speedrun Mode, over 20 new achievements, and a new treasure hunt feature. Of course, at its core, it is very much the same game.
Additionally, 15 tracks from the game’s soundtrack have been re-recorded by a live orchestra, under the supervision of the original composer Christophe Héral. Additionally, the original game soundtrack is available for pre-order in a special double-vinyl edition on Wayô Records’ website, for those who are collector of video game soundtracks on the format.
